CSM Instruments develops, manufactures and commercializes high quality instruments for measuring surface mechanical properties in both research and industrial fields.
Due to the rapid expansion of our activity, we are currently seeking an
APPLICATIONS ENGINEER
who will be based in the CSM Instruments office (Boston, MA) and perform the following activities:
- Testing of samples for clients as part of our Contract Testing Service
- Demonstrating the capabilities of our instruments to potential customers
- Installation of new instruments at customer locations, including training of users
- Providing general customer support, including troubleshooting and repair
- Development of new applications
- Attendance at conferences and tradeshows
- Suitable candidates should hold an engineering degree (or equivalent) in Materials Science or a similar discipline.
- >2 years experience in a materials or related testing field would be beneficial
- Some traveling will be required.
