トライボメータ

Pin-on-Disk tribometer for friction and wear studiesトライボメータは二つの材料表面が互いに擦れ合った際の摩擦・摩耗の振幅を計測します。計測方法としては、平板またはボール状のプローブを試料(図中Sample)の上に置き、あらかじめ設定した荷重(Load)を付加していきます。試料は回転または直線運動してプローブと摩擦します。その結果、プローブと試料との間に働く摩擦力が計測されます。さらに試料、プローブ両方の摩耗量が、摩擦試験中に減った材料の重量から計算されます。

 

このシンプルな手法により、ほぼすべての固体材料の組み合わせで、摩擦・摩耗挙動の計測や研究に供されています。
