CSM Instruments develops, manufactures and commercializes high quality instruments for measuring surface mechanical properties in both research and industrial fields. Due to the rapid expansion of our activity, we are currently seeking a

CUSTOMER SERVICE ENGINEER

who will be based in the CSM Instruments office (Needham, MA) and perform the following activities:
- Installation of new instruments at customer locations, including training of users
- Providing general customer support, including troubleshooting and repair
- Demonstrating the capabilities of our instruments to potential customers
- Recalibration of installed instruments as part of annual service contracts
- Streamlining of Customer Services activity
- Management of existing customer database

Suitable candidates should hold an engineering degree (or equivalent) in Electronics, Materials Science or a similar discipline.
Candidate must be computer literate, experienced in basic electronic troubleshooting (with Multimeter) and capable of methodical problemsolving
2 years experience in a materials or related testing field would be beneficial
Candidate needs to work autonomously, professionally and have excellent organisational skills
Significant travelling will be required in USA, Canada and Mexico
Candidate must be a US citizen
