CSM Instruments offers a variety of courses at our offices. These are specifically adapted to both new users and experienced users who would like to learn how to optimize the use of their instrument. Courses are available on Indentation, Scratch and Tribology and cover theory as well as practical training in our Lab. Please contact our Boston arae office to get on the training schedule.

On-site training

CSM Instruments offers specific training which can be customized to your particular needs and carried out on-site for your facilities. This is a good option for users who wish to be trained on their specific machine with their specific configuration, or for those who require training to optimize their instrument for a particular sample type.

Special Courses

CSM Instruments has partnered with the FSRM (Swiss Federation for Research in Microtechnology) to provide a course on Reliability & Testing of MEMS and MicroSystems , intended for engineers who wish to learn more about measuring mechanical properties of microfabricated components and devices. This is a 2-day course which is given bi-annually at various European locations.

In collaboration with MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), we are also actively involved with a professional course entitled Tribology: Friction, Wear & Lubrication which is offered annually for 1 week over the summer (usually June).
