CSM Instruments develops, manufactures and commercializes high quality instruments for measuring surface mechanical properties in both research and industrial fields.

Due to the rapid expansion of our activity, we are currently seeking a

Sales Engineer

who will be based in CSM Instruments headquarter (Neuchâtel area, Switzerland) and will cover the sales activities in Asian and/or European countries, depending on the languages spoken and previous experiences.

He/she should perform the following activities:

• General presentation of CSM products to prospects
• Demonstration of the capabilities of the instruments to potential customers
• Prospecting of new markets and/or applications
• Participation at conferences and exhibitions
• Training of users at customer locations
• Testing of samples for demonstration

Suitable candidates should hold an engineering degree (or equivalent) in materials science or a similar discipline. Knowledge in nanoindentation, AFM or/and tribology is required. Traveling is also part of the position.

Language required : English and (French or German)

As part of the Sales and Marketing team, the sales engineer will join a young and motivated company focused on nanomechanical testing (nanoindentation, nanotribology and nanoscratch testing). He/she will have the opportunity to work in the growing field of mechanical surface characterization on a nano- and micro-scale.
