CSM Instruments develops, manufactures and commercialises high quality instruments for measuring surface mechanical properties in both research and industrial fields. Due to the rapid expansion of our activity, we are currently seeking a

Technical Intern

who will be based in the CSM Instruments office (Needham, MA) and perform the following activities:

- Testing of samples for clients as part of our Contract Testing Service
- Demonstrating the capabilities of our instruments to potential customers
- Installation of new instruments at customer locations, including training of users
- Providing general customer support
- Development of new applications

Suitable candidates should be currently studying a Materials Science or Engineering degree course, or should have some experience in this field. The candidate should be a positive, self-motivated individual, if possible with some experience in technical instrumentation. This internship will provide the appropriate candidate with a wide range of skills working in a rapidly-growing high-tech and dynamic environment.
