Unser Nanohärte-Tester wurde zur Ermittlung mechanischer Werkstoffeigenschaften im nm bis µm-Eindringtiefenbereich konzipiert. Er kann insofern verwendet werden, um organische oder anorganische, weiche oder harte Materialien und Schichten zu untersuchen. Typische Beispiele sind: Dünnschicht- und Multilagenbeschichtungen, die mittels PVD, CVD oder PECVD hergestellt werden. Ferner können Fotolacke, Farben, Lacke und viele andere Überzüge und Beschichtungen untersucht werden. Selbstverständlich können auch Festkörper, egal ob weich oder hart geprüft werden. Typische Beispiele hierfür sind Metalle, Halbleiter, Glas, Keramik, Verbundwerkstoffe, biomimetische Werkstoffe sowie biologische Werkstoffe in vitro.
